| Personal History | Tymon was born 2350 on the Trill homeworld. He lived in the capital of Mak'ala with his parents Janina and Kejjis. From a young age Tymon dreamed of seeking out new civilizations and played Starfleet & Klingons with his childhood friends in the neighborhood or in the schoolyard every chance they got. During a school trip to the Caves of Mak'ala he had his personal revelations in his senior year of high school that he wanted to place his name forward to the Trill Symbiosis Commission for joining. At first his parents were concerned but were supportive. After high school graduation his grandfather and Trill Guardian Jacek Lanta surprised him that he put his name forward to the Trill Symbiosis Commission. He informed his grandfather that he had enlisted in Starfleet and enrolled in Starfleet Academy. Jacek said that the Commission would grant him leniency and could do his series of examinations and test on Earth if he remained committed, which he did until being summoned to report for full active duty during the Dominion War. Tymon enlisted in Starfleet in 2367. He would enroll in Counselling studies. He would graduate from the Academy in 2371 and be posted as a Counselor's Aide onboard the Akira-class USS Amorica. In 2374, he would be promoted to Counselor. During the Dominion War, the Armorica would sustain heavy losses before managing to escape with the surviving Federation Alliance Fleet. After crew replenishment and repairs completed the Armorica would report for active duty during the Liberation of Betazed. He become Acting Chief Counselor after the death of Lieutenant Walter Bradley. They would be apart of a mixed fire group with sister ship the Akira-class USS Cambrian (NCC-74986), Vorcha-class IKS Kortar the Condemned, and the Defiant-class ships USS San Antonio (NCC-75647) and the USS Tacoma (NCC-75659) for running tactics. The tactic was successful however the Armorica sustained heavy damage and critical losses including her Commanding Officer Commander Gracja Wrex was killed in the line of duty. The Chief Medical Officer Lieutenant Commander Roger Bishop was able to resuscitate the Wrex symbiont. After Betazed had been liberated the crew was able to mourn the loss of their Commander. Bishop was able to contact the Commission requesting emergency joining. The Guardians informed the Armorica's Chief Medical Officer that a Trill was assigned to the same vessel. Bishop was aware but wanted to ensure that there wouldn't be any repercussions against him or Starfleet to conduct the surgery without prior authorization. Tymon Lanta would agree to the surgery. There was serious life-threatening complications between the symbiont and the new host. However, Medical personnel were abe to ensure that both host and symbiont would live healthily. The Armorica would sustain heavy damage and losses but would manage to escape with the rest of the surviving Federation Alliance vessels that participated. She would return to active duty in time for the Liberation of Betazed. At the end of the Dominion War the Armorica would participate in providing long range artillery support for the Cardassians in the liberation of their homeworld from Dominion influenced tyranny. Following the Dominion War, Tymon would request a Leave of Absence to return to the Trill homeworld to participate in the Trill rite of closure, Zhian'tara. |
